Lynne-Rachel Altman

a San Francisco Bay Area Native, is best known for her sculpture, architectural and public art.  She holds a MFA in Sculpture and Glass (with distinction) from CCA(C), helped create (and taught at) the kiln casting department at Public Glass (San Francisco) and has been lead artist on  a number of residential and public art projects.  Altman has exhibited her fine art at venues such as the Tacoma Museum of Art, The Richmond Art Center, and the Museum of Craft and Design. Altman was a CGCA fellow, an Arad Arts Program participant, artist in residence at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, and an artist in residence (and TA) at Pilchuck Glass School. She has a sculpture studio at The Crucible, Oakland, Ca, where she teaches  and continues to develop her social practice and fine art.
