Kate Lenkowsky

My art career began in the 1990s when my children were in high school. Designing quilts, then wanting to better understand contemporary work led to research and the publication of Contemporary Quilt Art published by Indiana University Press (2008). Since then, I have taught, lectured, and juried several national exhibits and recently began making prints. Participation in the 2019-2020 Religion, Spirituality and the Arts Seminar in Indianapolis has inspired several artworks based on biblical figures.
