Frank Sinatra School of the Arts; Queens, NY

Ayelet Medjuck-Bruckner is a 10th grade student at the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts in Queens, New York though she lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. A child of immigrants, Ayelet loves making art and enjoys experimenting with various artistic mediums. Starting with doll houses and rockets out of cardboard boxes from the recycling, since she was a child Ayelet has always had an eye for creativity. Throughout elementary and middle school she taught herself how to crochet, make jewlery, and experiment with other mediums – eventually paving a path for her to devote half of her day to making art at her arts high school. Now as a teenager, she is very active in her family’s synagogues and teen councils. She is looking forward to participating in the Amen SELA fellowship to deepen her artistic abilities and connection to Judaism.
