Israeli-born and raised in America, Ariel Ser is now a junior at the North Farmington High School in Michigan. Ariel believes that Judaism and art share something in common: making a more wholesome world, making the world better than how you found it – the only difference is how each reaches those ends. Whereas Judaism asks us to bring tradition and commandments to better the world, art beckons the creator and receiver to connect and challenge one another – and this too is a form of tzedaka.
