Ali Spechler Shrago
is an interdisciplinary artist whose installations, paintings and performances examine the malleability of history and imagined community. Her hybrid actions explore the violence and ubiquity of Jewish histories while creating a familiar and strange space for her audience. Ali is a Fulbright Scholar (Germany 2020-21) and the recipient of the Naomi Anolic Emerging Artist Award. She received her BFA from Pratt Institute and her MFA from the School of Visual Arts in NYC.
